The sand filter is a part that helps protect the plumbing and prevent the faucets from clogging. It can sometimes cause a lack of pressure if not properly cleaned.

Here are the steps to follow

1. To start with, you need a water container (boiler). 2. Close your home’s main valve. 3. Close the valve after filtration. (If installed) 4. Place the boiler under the filter. 5. Use the valve (located on the filter) to release pressure from the system. 6. Open (by hand) the filter box. 7. Empty the case and remove the soiled cartridge. 8. Clean the cartridge and place it in the case (o-ring side up). 9. Install the housing and tighten by hand. 10. Open main valve. 11. Open secondary valve (if fitted) 12. Open a tap to bleed air from your plumbing.
